Bank Account Setup
Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up your bank account in Taxlink and import your first bank statement. This process will enable automatic transaction processing and reconciliation.
Sign In
Login to your Taxlink account to access banking features
What you'll need to do:
- Go to the Taxlink login page
- Enter your registered email address
- Enter your password
- Click "Sign In" to access your dashboard
- Ensure you have banking module access permissions
Account Access
Make sure you have banking module access. Contact your administrator if you can't see banking features.
Navigate to Bulk Upload → Banking
Access the banking section through the bulk upload menu
What you'll need to do:
- Look for "Bulk Upload" in the main navigation menu
- Click on "Bulk Upload" to expand the submenu
- Find and select "Banking" from the dropdown options
- You will be redirected to the banking upload interface
- This section handles all bank-related data imports
Navigation Tip
The Bulk Upload menu is usually located in the main navigation bar or under Data Management.
Select Upload Button & Choose Bank
Click the upload button to upload your bank statement and select the bank for which you want to upload the statement
What you'll need to do:
- Click on "Upload Statement" or "Upload" button on the banking interface
- A dialog or form will appear for uploading the bank statement
- Upload the statement and Select the bank from the dropdown list
- Choose the appropriate bank account (Savings, Current, or specific account)
- Ensure you select the correct bank to match your statement
View the Entry in Banking Module
Navigate to the banking module to view and manage your uploaded bank statement entries
What you'll need to do:
- Go to the Banking module from the main navigation
- Your uploaded bank statement entries will be displayed
- Review the imported transactions and account details
- Verify that all transactions have been correctly imported
- You can now manage, edit, or reconcile your banking entries
File Format Requirements
Ensure your bank statement is in PDF, Excel, or CSV format. Some banks have specific format requirements.
