Additional Tips & Best Practices

Date Format Requirements

Always use DD/MM/YYYY format when entering dates. Incorrect formats may cause validation errors or processing issues.

Date Range Validation

Ensure that both Purchase To and Sales To dates are not earlier than their respective From dates. The system will validate this and show an error if the range is invalid.

Checkbox Dependencies

The purchase and sales date fields will only appear when the Set Purchase Date checkbox is enabled. Make sure to check this first before looking for date options.

Purchase vs Sales Dates

Purchase dates track when items were purchased, while sales dates track when items were sold. Both ranges are important for accurate inventory and financial tracking.
